Infant Program
(6 weeks–1 year)
A secure, loving environment for your little one.
Leaving your baby in the care of others is a big step, and at Kiddie City, we’re here to support you through it. Our experienced infant teachers are dedicated to making sure your baby feels safe, nurtured, and ready to explore. From the moment you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see a space designed with love and care to help your baby thrive.
You trust us to care for your child when you can’t, and we take that trust seriously. While our days are filled with fun and laughter, our priority is always health and safety.
Our top priority is your child's safety.
The Infant Classroom
Take a look at some ways we thoughtfully organize our infant classrooms to support your baby’s learning and development.
A Clean, Safe Space for Little Adventurers
We prioritize a clean, germ-free environment so your infant can explore freely. From soft play mats to sanitized toys, every part of the classroom is designed with your baby’s safety and comfort in mind. Our staff uses frequent cleaning practices to keep everything in top shape for little hands.
Crib Safety is a Top Priority
Our cribs are kept clear of any items like pillows or toys to ensure a safe sleeping environment. Each crib comes with a firm mattress, a tight-fitting sheet, and is personalized with your infant’s name. Plus, they’re see-through, so we can always keep an eye on your little ones.
Supporting Your Baby's Unique Feeding Routine
Whether you breastfeed or bottle-feed, we’re here to ensure your baby is fed and happy. We have careful procedures in place to label and separate breast milk and formula. And if you'd like to stop by to feed your baby, you’re always welcome!
Sensory Exploration
Touching and feeling different textures helps infants understand the world around them. Our sensory toys come in a variety of shapes and materials, encouraging safe exploration with close supervision from teachers.
Group Time
Infants gather each day for songs, storybooks, and to interact with their friends and teachers. Group time activities align with fun monthly themes like colors, music, or animals!
Outdoor Playtime
Most of our classes, including infants, enjoy 20–30 minutes outside at least twice a day, weather permitting. Outdoor playtime helps infants develop their muscles and coordination while having lots of fun.
A Day in Your Infant’s Classroom
Your baby’s day will follow a gentle, flexible routine that fits their unique needs. Alongside personalized sleep and feeding times, infants come together for group activities, outdoor play, and sensory exploration with engaging toys.

Infant Curriculum
Yes, even infants have a curriculum! At this age, your baby’s brain is growing at an incredible rate, and every interaction helps build important connections. Our infant-focused curriculum is designed to support brain development, one small moment at a time.
Developing Communication
We encourage early language skills by pointing out objects (“Look, a ball!”), reading lots of stories, and responding to their baby babble with words and sounds. These simple exchanges lay the foundation for communication.
Exploring Creativity
To nurture their creative side, we introduce new textures, such as soft or sticky, and offer opportunities for movement. Music and baby-friendly instruments also help your infant express themselves and discover the joy of sound.
Boosting Cognitive and Physical Skills
We stimulate your baby’s brain by engaging all five senses, practicing memory-building activities, and encouraging them to mimic actions. As your child grows, we’re here to support each new physical milestone along the way.
Emotional Comfort and Social Growth
Emotional security is key for infants. Our teachers provide nurturing care, helping your child feel safe through gentle cuddles and comfort. In this warm environment, your baby also begins to recognize other infants and form early friendships.
Classroom Activities
Every day, our creative teachers guide infants through fun activities designed for their age. Here are just a few examples:
-
Roll and Go - Infants mimic actions like rolling toy vehicles, exploring movement, and learning to make fun vehicle sounds.
-
Build and Tumble - Infants develop motor skills and coordination as they stack blocks and giggle while watching them tumble down.
-
Touch and Explore - From soft to scratchy, smooth to rough, infants explore their senses by feeling different textures and everyday items.
